DANCER and PARENT GUIDELINES
*COMMUNICATION IS KEY! Please communicate if you have any questions. Please communicate if your dancer will be missing class (we can share information if needed or video class materials) We plan on ALL students participating in performances unless we are told otherwise, if costumes are purchased you must pay. Please be attentive to paying fees on time—that is MUCH appreciated and helps me keep my costs down.
*PUNCTUAL ATTENDANCE IS KEY TO SUCCESS! Our classes begin and end on time. Please be ready to begin class 5-7 minutes before start time. Dancers who attend classes weekly are confident and successful. PLEASE ATTEND ON TIME. PARENTS please DO NOT block the driveway to the house, be extra attentive when pulling in or out. DO NOT UNLOAD ACROSS THE STREET and HAVE DANCERS CROSS THE ROAD. If your dancers is a bit early or late being picked up—advise them to sit quietly in the lobby. PRE SCHOOL and YOUNGER dancers are asked to wait in the shoppe for their safety.
*WEAR PROPER DANCE ATTIRE: No jeans, no jean shorts—In hip hop/Guys on the Go— jogging pants, tee shirts, CLEAN soled athletic shoes. Other classes please wear leotards/tights OR black dance pants with fitted tops—-CORRECT SHOES especially in TAP are a MUST. Baseball player rarely go to practice without their mitts.
*DANCE BAGS AND SHOES: PLEASE MARK ALL ITEMS WITH DANCERS NAME—any items left are delivered to the DI or other Thrift Stores at Christmas Break and at the end of season. If your child is missing regular clothing a bin in the lobby will have lost and found.
*NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE DANCE SHOPPE: PLEASE no food or drinks inside the dance shoppe. Water bottles YES! NO soda, juice or food of any kind. We strive to keep the dance shoppe a clean, comfortable place to learn. If the weather is bad—wet shoes stay in the lobby. PARENTS please do not come into the dance room with your outside shoes on. Thanks for your help!
*STUDENT INFORMATION: If your student has allergies please NOTE it on the registration form, ALSO—Please verbally let me know to confirm. If your dancer has special needs please be sure teachers are aware. We are here to help the dancers have the best dance education experience.
*STUDENT CONDUCT AND CLASS ROOM MANNERS: We will review class room procedures and manners weekly. We expect all students to respect other dancers and their instructors. If there is an issue parents will be notified. NO CELL PHONES or GIZMOS ETC. during class—the must be kept in the cubby and turned off. We expect first time listeners and giving best effort from our dancers.
*PERFORMANCES! We will have our Fall/Halloween Performance at the Juab County Fair Grounds during Cees Boutique—OCT. 10-11th dancers will be assigned a time. Dances will be short and sweet. Costumes easy! Information coming the week of Sept. 15th :) —- December will be our Christmas Show and Nativity—Date TBA——End of April or first of May—Spring Show. As soon as the dates are confirmed I will post on the website! THANK YOU! CLASSES FOR 2025 begin the week of SEPT. 8th :)
